JUMP ROPE
PVC Rope #2
This was my very first jump rope and the rope I started learning with. It played a big part in the beginning of my jump rope journey.
WHY I USE IT
PVC ropes are a great option when you want more speed and already have some control over the rope. They move quickly and are well suited for faster skills and freestyle training. For complete beginners, a beaded rope can be easier to control and gives you more feedback while learning your timing.
FILMING SETUP
Tripod
The tripod I use to position my smartphone for jump rope videos.
WHY I USE IT
I mainly use a tripod to keep the camera position consistent and the footage steady. You do not need anything complicated. As long as your phone is secure and you can adjust the height and angle, it does the job.
DJI Osmo Mobile SE
An optional addition to the tripod that makes filming alone more convenient.
WHY I USE IT
A gimbal is not necessary for better jump rope footage, but it makes filming by yourself much easier. I can control the camera from a distance and use gestures to start recording, so I do not have to walk back to the phone after every take. A phone and tripod are already enough if you want to keep your setup simple.

The phone I use to record most of my jump rope content.
WHY I USE IT
It gives me everything I need for my normal filming workflow without carrying a separate camera setup. For jump rope content, a good smartphone is already more than enough when the framing, lighting and camera settings are right.
